چکیده

Introduction: The Purpose of the present study was to assess outcome anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) with an accelerated rehabilitation protocol and compare it a conservative protocol. It hypothesized that protocol, including brace-free early weight bearing, would result in higher rate recurrent instability revision surgery compared Methods: From 2016 2017, two different protocols for isolated ACLR were used at high-volume knee center. A total 65 consecutive patients hamstring ACLR, whom n = 33 had been treated (AccRehab) 32 (ConRehab), retrospectively included study. Patients evaluated instability, surgery, other complications mean follow-up period 64 ± 7.4 months. In addition, Tegner Activity Scale, Lysholm Score, IKDC-subjective Score evaluated. Statistical comparison between groups performed utilizing Fisher’s exact test Student’s t-test. Results: Mean age (29.3 vs. 26.6 years) preoperative (6.4 5.9) comparable both groups. At months after six cases reported AccRehab group (18%) three (9%) ConRehab (p n.s.). There no significant difference regarding further complications. Furthermore, found (5.5 1.9 5.5 1.2), (93.6 6.3 89.3 10.7), IKDC score (89.7 7.9 86.7 12.1). Conclusion: No disadvantage following terms rate, or patient-reported outcome. However, trend towards reinstability Future level one trials evaluating bearing are desirable.

Subjective assessment of rehabilitation protocol by patients after ACL reconstruction - preliminary report.

BACKGROUND Subjective evaluation by patients has recently become an important adjunct to postoperative clinical assessment. Apart from standard physical examination, scales demonstrating patients’ subjective outcome measures are used for assessing the efficacy of the treatment and rehabilitation of knee ligamentous injuries. The present work presents patients’ subjective assessment of rehabilit...

Rehabilitation of Revision ACL Reconstruction

Reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is widely accepted as the treatment of choice for individuals with functional instability due to an ACLdeficient knee. It is estimated that anywhere between 60,000 and 75,000 ACL reconstructions are performed annually in the United States, although this number may be as high as 350,000. Despite the fact that nearly 90% of index ACL reconstr...
